Business System Analyst

6 MONTH CONTRACT | 1 DAY ON SITE PER 2 WEEKS | 55-62/hr T4A

Required Skills and Experience *

- 6+ years experience working as a Business Systems Analyst for medium sized organizations.

- Strong big data conversion experience and ability to pull legacy data from SQL DB for data profiling

- Strong experience working on data governance projects and establishing data governance best practices/frameworks

- Experience working in an agile environment and cloud environment (AWS preferred)

- Strong documentation experience using Jira or equivalent technology.

- Excellent communication skills both written and verbally, and strong attention to detail.

Nice to Have Skills and Experience

- Knowledge or experience with guidewire software.

- Experience creating dashboards with Tableau or PowerBI

Job Description *

Insight Global is looking for a Senior Business Systems Analyst to join a large Insurance company on a 6 month contract with possibility of extension or conversion to full time. The Business Analyst will be joining a large modernization project and will be responsible for regulating their data governance processes. Previous experience with documenting data requirements, data conversions, data profiling within a cloud environment, and an understanding of metadata characteristics is crucial to succeed in this role. This role is hybrid once every two weeks in the Markham office.
