Research Expert (Contract Position)
Mercor, in collaboration with a major AI lab, is seeking Research Experts for a part-time, remote contract position.
Job Overview:
As a Research Expert, you will conduct extensive online research, synthesize information from multiple sources, and create tasks and evaluation rubrics to assess AI model performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform in-depth online research on various topics
- Synthesize information from multiple sources
- Create tasks representative of your research work
- Develop rubrics to evaluate the quality of task completion
- Contribute to the assessment of AI model performance using your rubrics
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of professional experience
- Strong online research skills
- Ability to synthesize information from diverse sources
- Excellent written communication skills
- Experience in creating evaluation criteria or rubrics
Requirements:
- No AI experience necessary
- Comfortable with asynchronous work environments
Position Details:
- Contract position with Mercor
- Remote, asynchronous work
- 20 hours per week
- Hourly pay based on logged hours
Pay Rate: 45 USD/hr
