Data Scientist

Responsibilities:

· Design and optimize AI/statistical models to align with business requirements as a crucial member of the Business Intelligence team.

· Understand and analyze business needs, product nuances, sales channels, and promotional levers to inform model development.

· Ensure data completeness, accuracy, and quality; identify and resolve anomalies through collaboration with the business.

· Develop scalable machine learning pipelines, perform ETL processes, and configure AI product models.

· Evaluate and analyze model outputs, create comprehensive reports on model performance, and engage in productive conversations with business stakeholders.

· Address ongoing issues related to model performance and contribute to continuous improvement.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or related fields.

· 3+ years of applied machine learning experience.

· 2+ years of hands-on experience with Python and SQL.

· Proficiency in data visualization/BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik).

· Skilled in developing and deploying machine learning models, analytical problem-solving, pattern recognition, and predictive modeling.

· Understanding of data structures, data modeling, and software architecture; experience with cloud infrastructures is a plus.

· Expertise in evaluating model outputs and identifying improvement opportunities.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with effective communication abilities.

· Demonstrated work ethic, passion for learning, and commitment to development.
