About this role

Responsibilities:
As a Master Data Scientist, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the two-tier optimization engine: (1) heuristic algorithms for market prioritization and budget allocation across multiple markets, and (2) Mixed-Integer Programming (MIP) optimization to maximize audience impressions delivery within each market, respecting inventory, pricing, and business constraints. You will work in close collaboration with the client's domain experts throughout the development process, in an agile environment with 2-week sprints.


Requirements for this challenge:
Fluent English (conversation and technical documentation)
Solid experience in Data Science, Operations Research, or Optimization Engineering
Expertise in Mixed-Integer Programming (MIP) and optimization solvers (Gurobi, CPLEX, or similar)
Solid experience with AWS
Advanced Python
Heuristic algorithm design for large-scale combinatorial problems
Proven experience delivering optimization solutions to production
Multi-objective optimization (balancing multiple metrics and constraints)
Translating business requirements into mathematical formulations
Collaborative work with non-technical stakeholders to co-develop solutions
Agile methodologies (Scrum, 2-week sprints)
Nice to Have:
AWS Lambda for optimization workload deployment
Experience in advertising/media planning or marketing optimization
Knowledge of media metrics (CPM, GRP, impressions, reach, frequency)
Parallel computing for scalable optimization
